Route Description:

1. Run through Mui Wo villages
2. Go up the Old Village Path
3. Cross the road at Nam Shan
4. Go up the trail to Radio Hill
5. Turn left and follow Lantau Trail (yellow wooden signs) back to Mui Wo.

Route Description:

1. Follow South Lantau Road for approx. 2km until reaching Nam Shan Campsite
2. Follow the signs pointing to South Lantau Country Trail
3. Make sure to pay attention to signs at an intersection, and do not take a staircase up to Sunset Peak (much more climbing).
4. Enjoy the waterfalls and a shaded trail!

This trail is also great in a downhill direction for a little more relaxed hike. To start from Pak Kung Au, take bus 3M or a blue taxi to the very top of Tung Chung Road. Facing away from Tung Chung, the trail head is on left-hand side of the road.

Route Description:

1. Follow the signs for Silvermine Waterfall in Mui Wo
2. Climb up the Olympic Trail from waterfall.
3. After approximately 4km, turn right onto a dirt trail marked Lo Fu Tau Country Trail.
4. Enjoy the amazing views of the airport, Lantau Island, Tai Mo Shan & Hong Kong Island!

This trail is great from either direction - starting in Discovery Bay or starting in Mui Wo. You may also reach the top of Tiger's Head from Tung Chung MTR.
